Resolved
  • On Tuesday, October 12, from 1315 to 1715 UTC, some emails containing attachments were being deferred. This was due to delays in the scanning of attachments for one of the scanning layers. Barracuda's engineering team has switched traffic to another region and customers should no longer experience any delays.
Identified

Barracuda has acknowledged a slowdown of mail processing for customers using Advanced Threat Protection (ATP). Their engineers are spooling up additional resources to deal with the backlog of emails as a result. Email servers that automatically retry to send messages will be processed in a delayed fashion, however, scan to email messages from copiers will need to be re-scanned or redelivered from the Barracuda portal when the backlog clears.
