Fortinet firmware patches to be deployed for Smart Secure clients

Smart Secure Customers, Fortinet is releasing firewall firmware patches later today (October 22nd, 2026) to address currently undisclosed vulnerabilities to their systems. While our Smart Secure design and implementation reduce or eliminate most firewall specific vulnerabilities, due to the nature of this limited disclosure, we are treating this as a Zero Day patch.

Currently Omega has three dates set aside to perform these CVE mitigating upgrades: Thursday 10/22 - 6pm-11pm Friday 10/23 - 6pm-11pm Sunday 10/25 - 8am-12pm The Smart Secure team will be reaching out to schedule patch times. However, if none of the above times are suitable, please let your Account Manager and Customer Success Manager know immediately. If we do not receive a response by Sunday 25th at 8am, your firewall will be proactively upgraded at that time to ensure your continued protection.
